Jersey Shore Stories

There are as many memories of time spent down the shore as there are grains of sand scattered between the boardwalks and the surf. The salt air, the sand dunes, and the carnival rides have brought countless generations of beach bums and day trippers to the water's edge, with bikinis on, coolers in tow, and smiles on their faces.

The shore has become a home, a second home,and a home away from home for millions and the memories occupy a special place in all of our hearts. While structures come and go, tides change, and summer friends move away, reminiscing of seasons past keep the shore a vibrant place with its own cultural mythology.

It is that intangible heritage of the shore - the memories, the stories, the cool nights and hot days, the smell of boardwalk fries, the crashing waves - that I hope can be captured here on Shore Stories.
